[Vivi can't help but notice Nami seems strangely subdued this morning--and more clingy with Bellemere than usual. She has a good guess what the cause is, knowing Nami lost her mother when she was fairly young. However, a bit later in the day, when she catches a glimpse of an unfamiliar tattoo peeking out from beneath the girl's sleeve, the shock hits her like a punch to the gut. She gives a quiet gasp.]
[So young. She never knew it had happened when her friend was so young. Nami had shared some of the broader strokes of her past with Vivi--her time with the Arlong pirates and how Luffy had saved her from that--but Vivi had always assumed she'd been older when pressed into service. Such a burden for one so young.]
[Vivi won't mention any of that, of course. She doesn't even acknowledge the tattoo. She does, however, approach Nami shortly thereafter, having concocted a plan that will hopefully distract the girl from those painful memories.]
[Action - age 10] we'll start off with just the one thread >.>
