[Nami's had quite enough of sleeping. It's kind of disconcerting to be told it's now September, and it doesn't help that she's spent the time since Ling's rude wake-up call still sleeping most of her day away. So tired, all the time. Prone to falling asleep mid-shower, and that is annoying, to say the least.

Oh, well. A week has gone past and she can finally get through most of the day with no problems, so Nami takes advantage of the fact that there is no Chopper to tell her otherwise (and no Katara or Law at the house at the time) to sneak up to the orchard and see how it's fared in her near-two-month absence.

...huh. Been hot lately, she sees. And a lot less mikan up here than she was expecting. Nothing too alarming, and the place seems okay otherwise, pinwheels and all. Someone even fixed her cottage door, lookit that.

Welp. Observant villagers might see the low-lying rainclouds to the northeast of the village, a tiny little storm that barely covers an acre. It's too hot today anyway, may as well take advantage of the fact that she can cheat.]

Thanks, whoever fixed my door. Did you take some of the fruit as payment or should I blame someone else for that?

[It's pretty hard to miss a rainstorm when it's right next door. And, after coaxing a crow for a ride in the downpour, Miyabi soars off to investigate. She has an inkling she knows why it's only raining in that one spot, but she just wants to make sure - the orchard took enough damage in the past weeks as it is. Besides, if it is what she believes it to be, she can say hello.

So, as the crow caws and complains about the rain throughout the entire journey, Miyabi ignores it and looks out for a moving speck of orange amongst the other, stationary specks.]

[The day's hot enough that letting herself be soaked through by her own personal rainstorm seems like a fine idea to Nami, medical opinions to the contrary be damned. :| She'll eventually move to the shelter of the small cottage verandah, but for now she's still inspecting the trees, coaxing any that are particularly starved for moisture to soak in as much of that water as they can.

The orange speck is moving very slowly, but perhaps the fluffy yellow thunder duck that's following her loyally from tree to tree will stand out more. |D]

[Luke had heard what occurred, but his own preoccupation with Ami's birthday and the influx of New Feathers like Spock had kept his attention elsewhere. Still, good to see she's up and about]

[Well if the door fixer didn't take her fruit, then the girl currently lounging on a branch and stuffing her face with mikans could be partly responsible.

She's never had any of this strange food before this. It's pretty juicy and tasty! But no where near as good as fish.]

[Florian wasn't planning on wandering around this particular part of town today, but he knows a raincloud when he sees one, and where there's rainclouds there's puddles!

It doesn't take too long to get there, and it takes even less time for him to get soaked through. Cue a happy Ion replica spinning happily around the mikan trees.]

[She can, and she gives Guy a faintly curious glance. Not that she was on bad terms with him on his last visit, but they kept their distance.
