[Well, at least this experiment gives Nami plenty of ways to vent and keep busy. In between running escort duty and interference in the Ganglands area for both Nojiko and Good Spirits, there's the small issue of her mikan grove now being part of the searing desert... so she's up there every night providing cool, sweet rainy relief for the mikan trees, the grasses, and the crocodiles.

[Why yes, she is chasing a bunch of crocodiles out of her grove back to the river with a crackling quarterstaff, why do you ask. Anyone for fried crocodile meat? >_>

Catch her either in the plaza in her ganglands finery beating up on the local thugs or drinking or maybe just. You know, having a cupcake in a quiet period. Or up at the orchard in the evenings, dressed like an Alabastan dancing girl and basking in the extremely localised rain. Such is life.]

[On the third evening, she makes a post as something occurs to her, walking through the orchard and swinging her staff casually on crocodile patrol.]

[...SO BASICALLY Nami is lost in a tomb but she doesn't care because there's GOLD in them there crypts, but you know. She probably needs a rescue anyway. Or company. Or someone else who fell in. Or someone who just got...hopelessly lost... heck, while we're down here may as well see if there's any of those scavenger hunt items, right? Amidst the monsters and the booby traps. Pops too, but I can hold out hope for my brothers easier. Probably because there's so many of them. [Chuckles.] Plus, then I won't have to feel guilty for getting to corrupt Ace all by myself, eh?

Although having Sabo around has really helped too. He calms Ace down better than I think either of them seem to realize.

Does Ace need a lot of calming down?

[Shrugs.] Not as much as he used to. But he's a logia, he's always had a wild temper according to Sabo, but he learned a lot of control when he first joined our crew. He even wove Little Oars Jr. a straw hat, eh? He learned how on Wano island. Not an easy thing for fire logia, but he found a way.

Nami! [ Good grief will you stop wandering further in, you're going to give her a

whoops indeed. The hole up top widens, because Nami's getting company. ]

[There doesn't seem to be much sign of Nami down below. But at least she's close enough to note Nojiko's sudden attempt at coming down because her voice issues up from far away, sounding a mite nervous.]

[Sound of running footsteps. 8D Clackclackclack. Yep, she still wears high heels wherever she goes even now.]

A dragon? Was that here, or at home?

Here. One of the villagers got turned into one. All the dragons I've met tend to be jerks, really.

[She's heard of Wano Island just recently. It snags her attention for a moment, but she just shrugs and shakes her head with a small smile.]

I guess there's only so much you can do.

Well... that's probably a normal way for a dragon to act, but still, that kinda sucks.

[She opens her mouth, shuts it, and then gives him a faint grin.] Ask Law about it some time. He had to put me back together again.

And then she's tracking you down. ]</small.

[Are you coming down here? Are you? 8D? Because she's not very hard to track down. In fact, as Nojiko touches down Nami practically runs into her, yelps, bounces off, then snags Nojiko's wrist and keeps running.] I told you not to come down here!

[There may be ominous sounds behind you. Kind of sounds like the tide coming in. Only, you know. Underground. >_>]
