[The announcement doesn't come until she's tracked down what's left of her crew and paid a visit to Ace and Sabo to inform them in person. She could wish Sanji and Zoro were here, because she winces at the idea of them finding out on the grapevine before they even return home. But it can't be helped.

Besides, maybe he'll be back before they return. He always has before.

She can hope he isn't.]

For those that knew him, Luffy has gone home. [She sounds perfectly calm, if a little distant.] He didn't leave anything, so... wish him well.

L- Luffy's really gone gone this time? Maybe he'll be back in a few weeks...

[There's the sound of a book closing. Gone home for now. They're almost always back... no matter the interval of time between.

What says it'll be any different now.

It likely won't. The only question remains is if Law himself will see his return, or perhaps he will be gone himself if that occurs. Bitter thoughts for a bitter man.

For the first time, home has never felt this far.]

[Robin is in her room for once, or at least there past a certain time in the morning. Though she's not sure why. Sanji and Zoro both gone. The threads of their bonds seemed to be unwinding strand by strand and she wonders if it is Luceti that will finally make them snap]

Luffy?

[Luffy'd been a great friend. But at least with what he heard from others had led him to think he had a chance back home. He was going to make it, make his dream come true. It just cost Aang one dear friend here.]

I'm gonna miss him.

[He's quiet. He needs to get... what? Books and booze for Sabo and Ace respectively? What would help them? Anything? They wanted Luffy to succeed further on the Grand Line. And at least Nami and Straw Hat's crew would be with him. And the next time they saw Luffy again, he'd be closer to achieving his dream. One part joy, one part sorrow for his brothers who had that much more distance to see it from.]

Yeah... He did leave and come back not too long ago, right? I do wish I could see him again and have more fun hanging out with him. But he's never gonna get around to his dream of becoming a Pirate Ninja Meat Vendor King if he keeps getting pulled back and forth like this...

[Unlike most other weeks of late, once Nami arrived home to give the news, she stayed put. She opens the door not too long after, to the tune of some melancholic violin music drifting down from Brook's music room upstairs.]

[Nami's been up at the orchard most of the day. It's a common occurrence for her, these days-- coming home early like this is a little out of the ordinary. As is the sound of her opening and closing doors along the hallway until she gets to Robin's room, looking for her fellow crew.

When she sees Robin is home, there's a pause. And then she leans against the door, reaching for something to say, small talk, couching it gently, something--

...best to just say it.

A pirate ninja meat vendor king... [She sounds on the verge of laughing. At the very least, it's an amusing thought. Oh, Luffy.] He'll never make a ninja or a meat vendor.

[With a finger snap, keeping up an irreverent tone]

[There's a pause. Largely because Nami wavers between playing the lighthearted game and giving in to the urge to snap at him for being irreverent at a time like this.

She comes down on the side of the former in the end, though her smile is a little strained.] Thousand acres are no good to a pirate anyway.

Really? But he was gonna study real hard and learn alchemy too!
