[Second thoughts? Well. She hadn't been, but when Nami puts it like that...]

I don't know if I'd call it second thoughts, only...I wonder if maybe I've been missing someone else who was right under my nose the whole time. [She smiles to herself, ducking her head and finishing off the last bit of her fruit.]

[Nami catches her breath on that admission, and really wonders if she has any right to respond to that the way she wants to. It's not fair to this Norma girl, is it? And yet she steps closer without thinking, and after a half second of struggling with herself, she swallows.]

Maybe you have. At least, maybe you should... make sure you're happy. I would.

Then... [Vivi steps in closer to Nami and looks up at her through her lashes. Moving slowly, carefully, so carefully, she raises her chin, bringing one hand up to cup the side of Nami's face. When she doesn't pull away, Vivi leans in, closing her eyes as her lips brush lightly against Nami's. It could barely be called a kiss, but she pauses there, waiting to see how her friend will react.]

[Given such a clear, unmistakable signal, Nami doesn't hesitate; she's always been bold. She slides her fingers through fine blue hair, leaning in to capture Vivi's lips with her own in something that could most definitely be called a kiss.]

[When it's clear Nami doesn't object--quite the opposite, apparently--Vivi begins to kiss her back, lips slightly parted to taste the sweetness of fruit juice lingering on Nami's lips. After a long moment, the kiss ends naturally, and Vivi pulls back to look Nami in the eye. She sweeps a strand of hair from Nami's face, nodding.] Yes. [When she speaks, she sounds a little breathless.] Yes, this makes me happy.

[And it does. But, somehow, she can't quite shake an almost imperceptible sense of something being off.]
