It's snowing lightly today, but it won't stop Nami's usual rounds: orchard, battledome, restaurant, bar. ...okay, that's not entirely her usual rounds. But she's looking for someone. Or several someones. So today consists of people-watching in the hope she'll see one of them.  She'll stop and be sociable with just about anyone, however.]

[Hmm, not a bad idea.] That could work. I'm not too eager to sign up for another mission, but that's another possibility.

You've been on a mission? [Curiosity snagged.] What was it like?

[His tone is full of dry annoyance.] Completely unfulfilling in all the ways I wanted it to be. Didn't learn a thing about the Malnosso. And then they dumped my on the draft right after it was over. Nice of them.

At least I got to spend some quality time with my suit.

That sucks. Still, it could've been worse. I know a girl who was dumped in that draft direct from a kidnapping.

Are you doing it for the rewards or just for something to do?

[Good god.] I'd say the Malnosso have a sick sense of humor, but that'd imply they have a sense of humor to begin with.

[Ah, that's the question.] A little bit of both--and neither. I hoped to gain something from it, but I didn't find what I was looking for.

They don't strike me as a very fulfilling job, no.

...should I ask what it is you were looking for?

--Probably not. Not over the journal, anyway. You know. The Malnosso's ever listening ear, and all.

Ahh, well. Perhaps another time, then.

[You can pretty much expect her to hit Tony up the next time she sees him in public, really.]

In the meantime, Good luck avoiding the experiment. Though I have the most unfortunate feeling that the Malnosso aren't going to let us get away that easily.
