[ hermione knows there's nothing to be said to something like that, not the loss of a close friend. it'll hurt no matter what she says. so she does the only thing she can think of and tries to find nami after an hour or so. maybe a distraction will help.

besides, it's the perfect time to visit the orchard. ]

[The day is a pretty calm one, free of snow, so Nami is out sitting on an upturned crate in the orchard itself, running her hands up some pretty nasty slashes on one of the trees. Despite the tone of her message, she looks pretty calm and collected. Or maybe a better word is blank.

She does smile a little though, when she catches sight of Hermione entering the orchard.]

Hey.

[ hermione offers a smile, noticing the difference in nami's energy levels. losing someone is always hard. no one knew when they'd be back. ]

I thought it might be a nice day to finally come out here to see this. It's a lovely place.

[Her grin gets wider.] Hey, thanks. You should have seen it yesterday, though; it was a disaster zone.

What happened? No one destroyed anything, I hope.

Ahhh... no, but they came close. It wasn't their fault. One of the villagers is kind of a tiger right now, courtesy of the Malnosso. He's just...doing tiger-y things.
