[At 17, Nami will be out and about per usual, though not trying out her newly discovered thieving ways. She learned all she needed to the day before (a year ago), and by now she knows enough of what's going on. Her mood isn't the best for a variety of reasons, so at some point in the afternoon she vanishes off to the sea and just watches the waves from the desert fort until she can't see anything at all. She'll creep home late.

At 18, on the other hand... she wakes up in tears. Again. But it's okay. This time she doesn't mind at all. She doesn't so much sleep in this morning as curl around her pillow and rake over her memories until they all make sense, so if anyone wants her before 10 that's where she'll be. When she finally gets up, she spends most of the day in the house because ksfasf she finally remembers all of you sorry pirates. She just doesn't remember anyone else. And the Arlong brand is gone this morning, replaced with her familiar pinwheel-and-mikan tattoo.

At 19, she makes a post, a little paler than usual. She's regained all the way to her nineteenth birthday, but the events before that were kinda nasty. 8|]

So I finally remember enough to work out what's been going on this week. But as I understand it, I still have a couple years to go, so. Don't hold it against me if I don't remember you for another day, or whatever.

So... am I cute at 21?

Um. [She remembers you saying two people went home a few days ago. That, and according to her memories, you're supposedly missing.] Are you there?

[It takes a moment to answer, lost in thought as she is. But Nami blinks and glances up at the door, arms hugging her pillow.]

Vivi. Come in.

[Vivi twists the doorknob before taking up the tray in both hands again, pushing the door open with her hip. It's strange to see Nami still abed at this hour, and by the puffiness of her face, she's been crying--though she doesn't look particularly upset to Vivi.]

Are you feeling all right? We missed you at breakfast. [She holds up the tray a bit.] I brought you a little something to eat.

Oh, really? [Her eyes light up, even as her stomach growls. Yup. Someone's hungry.] You're a lifesaver. Come sit! [Patting on the bed. For someone with a blotchy face, she seems in a damn good mood.]

I remember you now.

[Vivi gives a small gasp, hurrying over to the bed. They'd all assumed Nami and Sanji would eventually start to catch up as they got older, but it was good to see it confirmed. She sets the tray down next to Nami and leans over to give her a hug. Nami may still have a little way to go before she gets to her right age (and Vivi hopes the aging will stop there, though at this point there's no way to know for sure), but it's a relief that this is the Nami she knows, and who knows her.]

Welcome back.

[Nami wraps her arms around Vivi and hugs tight.]

I missed you. [She doesn't care how silly that sounds. Yesterday was a year ago, and they'd long since left Vivi behind in Alabasta.] I guess at least we can be together in a place like this, huh?

[Vivi doesn't think it sounds silly at all. She nods as their hug ends, taking a seat on Nami's bed with care, so as not to jostle the tray with the glass of orange juice.]

That's how I try to look at it.

[When she'd first arrived in Luceti, she'd seen it as almost a blessing of sorts, for that very reason. After nearly a year here, Vivi no longer has anything like that sort of goodwill toward the place, but she continues to be grateful that it does allow her to be together with her nakama as she can't be back home.]

[Nami will collect that tray to balance it on her knees once Vivi takes a proper seat, taking a bite out of a bagel before she says anything else, for she is starving.] It's one of the few decent things about this place, I guess. When do you get here? Or should I say-- when did you get here?

Let's see, that would be...near the end of last March.

So, nearly a year ago, now. [She shakes her head in disbelief. Putting it like that makes it seem so much longer than it's felt.]

So I might remember that tomorrow. Or maybe the next day...I'm not sure. This place is weird. [Said as she takes another bite of bagel.] Mm, and this is delicious. Thanks.

[...heh.] Don't suppose you've seen Sanji-kun this morning.

Ah. Not really. I saw him around during breakfast, but we didn't get a chance to talk.

[It hits her then, that if Nami remembers, then Sanji must too--at least, assuming that they were both aging at about the same rate.]

Why? Would you like me to get him for you? [Assuming she can find him. He seemed to make himself scarce after finishing up breakfast.]

No, that's okay. I'll find him later. [It doesn't surprise her terribly much that he hasn't stopped by, but she feels a little disappointed for it anyway.] I think this morning might be a lot for him to take in, considering.

[Vivi sighs.] ...I didn't even realize. He didn't say anything.

[She looks back up to Nami.] Is it strange for you, too?

...it is. Because I haven't stopped yet, have I?

Well. [It's odd for her too, because while this is much closer to "her" Nami, after nearly a year here, she's grown accustomed to the older version of her friend. Not to mention there's still a twinge of worry that this process won't stop, even once Nami hits twenty-one.]

You're still older here, so you must have at least another few...years left. What's the last thing you remember now? From back home, I mean.

Annulling my wedding to a hideous lion-man with a few thousand volts of electricity.

[Such a straight face.]

[Vivi opens her mouth to ask about that, but on second thought...maybe she'd rather not know. It must have happened before the crew was separated, at any rate.]

[Nami just grins at the face Vivi's making.] Aaah, seems I only attract the weirdos. Whatever shall I do?

[U-unsure if being trolled.]

I'm sure you'll find someone nice eventually.

Heh. Maybe. If that's what I was really looking for.

What about you? Things have got to be looking brighter on your end.

[Urm. Vivi's not sure now if Nami's question is still about 'meeting someone nice' or another topic entirely.]

Well, you're a princess surrounded by lots of rich men, right? [Eheh. Note she said 'rich' and not 'cute'. Looks, who needs 'em.] Anyone interesting?

N-Nami-san! That isn't-- [She breaks off to quickly shake her head.]
