[Action/Video] Day 5 onwards

[And on the first four days of this experiment, lo, the navigator was completely unaffected and oblivious, casually making use of Trafalgar Law's coated ship to pretend Luceti doesn't exist explore the ruins beneath the water.  She'd have invited Raine, only you know.  Under the surface and all.  S'all good.  It's not like the rest of the village is going nuts or anything, is it?

...and on day 5, there is a lot of screaming, lost to the depths of the sea.  Luckily, her journal is off for that part, or she'd never live it down.  However.]

[Panicked Voice] 

Zoro!!  Katara?  Someone get me off of this thing!!   Why is it always a boat?

[Ship, Nami.  But hey.   Feel free to drop in on her for a rescue or a random teleport or whatever floats your...boat... /shot


From day 7 onward Nami will be afflicted by the teleporting bug herself, turning up in all sorts of awkward places.  Not always fully dressed.  Beware:  she will charge you for the privilege,   8|  Throughout, though, she really kind of believes she's someone else, married with three children.  Ahahaha.  She may kill someone when this is over.]

[He steps back from the table, annoyed.]

What?! Why should I have to get you a drink? You spilled mine, you should be the one replacing it!

Because I asked really nicely? ...semi-nicely. Please? [Gawd, you'd think she does this all the time. ...okay, she might.] Besides, look at me. I don't want to leave wet puddles all over the bar.

[damuron]

Alright! Fine! What do you want anyway? [He pouts, but he can see your point.]

[mikangirl]

[Hey, at least her smile of gratitude is sincere. She'll just wring her hair out discreetly kind of ... uh, into the seat next to her, but shh.] Vodka is good. With orange?

[damuron]

Picky, picky. [He starts to walk towards the bar.] You stay here and clean up the mess you made then! I'll be back in a minute.

[mikangirl]

Great! Thanks. [Well...seeing as he's so nice about it, she'll make an effort to at least wipe the table free of excess water with the help of some sacrificial napkins from the table over. It might still be a little damp, but at least it's not its own miniature swimming pool now.]

[damuron]

[It doesn't take him long to return with a tall glass of some sort of vodka orange mix, with an added slice of orange slipped onto the side. He holds it out towards her, making sure not to spill it. His other hand contains a replacement beer.]

Here you go! Don't go knocking this one over either.

Ahh! Thank you, I promise I won't. [Because lord, she could do with a drink after the day she's been having. ~_~ Nami takes it with due care and gives him a grin.] Have I mentioned you're my favourite brother today?

[...mind you, she can't find the other two right now. Stupid Shift.]

[He pulls the chair back up and sits at the table. He can't deny he's a sucker for flattery, especially as he rarely gets it.]

I'll make sure to tell our siblings that then! I can't say I've seen them lately though, probably because I told father to get lost.

Yeah, I... had a feeling you might've. [Alexei told her about the pinwheel thing, anyway. She can't exactly see Damuron making pinwheels anyway, but the 'getting lost' part makes her wince a bit.] Guess you haven't seen him since then, either?

[damuron]

[He takes a large drink from his glass before replying.] Not in person, no. Maybe because I've been avoiding him. [Though he can't help smirk a little.] Seems like your avoiding him without even trying though!

[mikangirl]

[Snrk.] You're telling me. I think he was annoyed I missed out on breakfast this morning. You know, on account of suddenly finding myself in the fountain.

[damuron]

Have you tried to go back home yet, or do you just find yourself somewhere else before you get the chance?

[mikangirl]

I tried. Sometimes I even make it! But I don't think there's been more than maybe twenty minutes before it happens again, so there doesn't seem to be much point trying to go back all the time.

[damuron]

I dunno, you could set a challenge for yourself and see how far you can get. Make a game out of it or something?

[mikangirl]

[Snrk.] Well... I guess I'd get a lot of exercise in that way. Right now I'm hoping I stay put just long enough to enjoy a drink or two.

[damuron]

Oh, well if you want another drink after this one you can go get yourself. I'm interested in seeing if you go "poof" to somewhere else on your way to the bar.

[mikangirl]

If I do, you'll have to apologise to the bartender for my drink upending all over the floor.

[damuron]

It's part of the bartender's job to clean up the mess that the patrons make anyway. I don't think I have anything to worry about!

It'd be a shame to waste a good drink though.

[mikangirl]

Maybe I should just throw the whole thing down in the first few seconds I get it, just in case. Or d'you think if I hold on hard enough I'd just take it with me? I could deal with that.

I have no idea! You could try both if you get two drinks though.

[mikangirl]

Oh, I like the way you think. Definitely two, then. [...once she finishes this one. Which she's yet to really start, so Nami lifts her glass and toasts her brother.] To crazy Shifts?

[damuron]

[He joins the toast.] If it wasn't for them then we'd all die of boredom!

If you're going to the bar though, grab me one too.

[She downs half her glass after the toast, and grins.] Ahh, I suppose I can. When I finish mine anyway. At least the weather's warm enough I'm drying out enough.
