[Action/Voice] Forward dated to the 19th
[Nami comes back to Luceti with a bang.
...literally. Because the first indication of her arrival on the networks is her journal hitting a tree at high velocity. The journal window won't pick up more than a whole bunch of dizzily swirling forest scenery and then a bare, reddened foot as she kicks it afterwards for good measure. Then she just abandons it in the grass and stalks off. Incredibly useful contribution to the journals, isn't it? Sorry about that.
She's not really in any hurry to go home, and in no hurry to go announcing herself through town, but she is cold. So after some indecision, she heads for the Avatar house instead, knocking hesitantly on the door in her New Feather dress in search of warmth and other things.
A little while later, having borrowed a coat and some shoes and feeling a little more herself, she heads for home, letting herself in quietly and... sort of standing there and listening for voices, noise, anything. Then she'll come say hi. Sort of.
Whether she stays there or not after that, who knows? But she does eventually make a journal entry in the evening, borrowing someone else's. She's not cruel enough to pretend she's not here when there are friends in town.]
[Voice]
Shirahoshi, are you still here? I remember you, now. Just thought I’d let you know.
For everyone else... hi. I'm back. Again. All that. Business as usual, I guess.
[She sounds cheerful enough. Just tired.]

She doesn't say anything. But she'll be in the doorway watching until he finishes.]

With the final pluck, and note on his violin, Brook took a bow to the wall he was facing, as if he'd just been performing for a grand audience. Perhaps that's how he practiced with such fervor? That's of course when he finally turned around and spotted Nami.]
Oh... hello Nami.

N-Nami! You're back! Are you okay?! We missed you! Did you see anything really cool?!
no subject
Snow monsters. That's about it.
I'm fine. I wasn't gone that long, was I?
no subject
[Brook absently straightens out his hair, after his dancing with that song.]
As for being gone long? Not really, no. Just a week or two I think. I kept telling everybody you'd probably be back! And I was right! Yohohoho!
no subject
She wonders if he missed her this time.]
That's me. I just can't stay away from this place.

... You don't I take it?

There are some nice people here.
[That's about it.]

[No matter how much she hates this place, Nami will never think it's worse than spending fifty years on your own.]

[He was thinking back to how two years ago he'd started off as just an enslaved freak-show, and yet became a rock star.]
I know! Since you're looking so down, I should do something to make this place a bit better for you! Would you like me to maybe write you a song? Or umm...
[He scrunches his face trying to think of something else he can do.]
Make you some tea?
no subject
...just ... being yourself, I guess. Is all.

So... if you want me to be myself... does that mean I should ask to see your panties?

[He doesn't even care if he's going to get kicked, that was too much fun to just pass up.]
no subject
...seriously.]
Stop being so negative.
Make the best of things and have fun.
no subject
Yup! You got a problem with that?
no subject
So getting my crewmates killed, I should just laugh that off. Losing all sense of who I am and who I want to be, that's just all in the name of fun. Being trapped here and being torn to pieces as a crew, that's all just a fact of life to you, is it? Have you looked at our crew lately? Have you seen what this place has done?
You have no goddamned idea of what any of us have been through in this hellhole, so don't you dare tell me what I should think of this place.
no subject
Do they stay dead? Have you really lost them Nami? Because believe me, I have lost a crew, an entire crew and I can tell you there's a grand difference between that and this. Most of the time they seem to simply go home if they disappear from here, or they come back within a few weeks time.
You think I don't know what it's like to die, and watch all my friends slowly die around me, being left in loneliness for half a century?! Trust me, this place is a picnic cakewalk full of sparkles and joy in comparison to what it could be. If you let yourself surrender to despair every time you might have lost someone, then the only one you shall lose is yourself. You will become a hollow shallow frame of the woman you used to be, and become bitter towards everyone you ever cared for.
So I would advise that you tread this path carefully Nami. It is understandable to grieve, but if you don't let yourself have fun, that grief shall consume you. I know this all too well.

...off. Base.
He's new. He doesn't know what's gone on here before. She tells herself that. He doesn't...]

Disgusted.
She opens her mouth, and then closes it before she can say something she'll never be able to take back. And then abruptly she wheels around and leaves the room.]

He was almost wondering whether or not he was too late with his message, and Nami was a bitter shadow of herself. He slapped himself for even thinking that, as she was no doubt just stressed from just coming back... right? He heaved another sigh, picking up the pieces of teacup he'd shattered. He only hoped she wouldn't let things get her down too badly, and that somehow he could make amends with her.
With his back to the door, Brook picked up his violin once more and began to play Binks Sake. Yet the way he poured his emotions into it, made it the saddest, most wailing version of it he could remember playing in a long time... Almost as if he were crying through song.]
(ooc: Just to be clear, I myself am not mad or upset in any way. I actually think for an ic serious argument between the two, this is pretty well written on both ends of it. Also, any harsh words I used are not directed at you, or even your Nami, but what Brook is merely considering as possibilities about her. So no hard feelings, okay? ^^; I still think the world of you.]
