[Action/Voice] Forward dated to the 19th
[Nami comes back to Luceti with a bang.
...literally. Because the first indication of her arrival on the networks is her journal hitting a tree at high velocity. The journal window won't pick up more than a whole bunch of dizzily swirling forest scenery and then a bare, reddened foot as she kicks it afterwards for good measure. Then she just abandons it in the grass and stalks off. Incredibly useful contribution to the journals, isn't it? Sorry about that.
She's not really in any hurry to go home, and in no hurry to go announcing herself through town, but she is cold. So after some indecision, she heads for the Avatar house instead, knocking hesitantly on the door in her New Feather dress in search of warmth and other things.
A little while later, having borrowed a coat and some shoes and feeling a little more herself, she heads for home, letting herself in quietly and... sort of standing there and listening for voices, noise, anything. Then she'll come say hi. Sort of.
Whether she stays there or not after that, who knows? But she does eventually make a journal entry in the evening, borrowing someone else's. She's not cruel enough to pretend she's not here when there are friends in town.]
[Voice]
Shirahoshi, are you still here? I remember you, now. Just thought I’d let you know.
For everyone else... hi. I'm back. Again. All that. Business as usual, I guess.
[She sounds cheerful enough. Just tired.]

There was a draft-- it's this thing where the jerks in charge send a whole bunch of us away to fight for them whether we want to or can or not. Only this time, there was some kind of illness which was turning people insane and biting other people and...
[She trails off. Direct is actually pretty hard.]
...Zoro got bitten. He asked Sanji to kill him before he could hurt anyone else.

Nojiko had yet to experience the "death is cheap" aspect of Luceti on a personal level, and this still didn't qualify. ]
...So he did, I take it.
no subject
...yeah.
[So quietly. Oh, but Nami knew nobody thought they had a choice at the time. It made the cure that was found the very next day hurt so much more.
But that's not the only thing wrong. She just can't quantify the rest of it. Nami curls her hands around her tea and stares into the cup.]
...is Zoro back yet?

[She wonders if Nojiko will let her get away with a change of subject. Well... she wants to know.] So you're staying here, right?
no subject
Yes, in one of the rooms upstairs. [ Specifically the one that used to house their mother. ] Vivi found me pretty quickly after I used the journals.
no subject
...Nojiko. Did... Vivi tell you about...
[...oh. She stands.] I have something to show you. But it's out at the orchard. Come for a walk with me?
[Yep, mid cup of tea and everything. >_>]
no subject
...Bellemere?
[ She stands, too, though, shooting Nami a curious look. ] Sure. Lead the way.
no subject
--then rounds back, picks up her mug and drains the rest. >_> Tea is good. NOW.] The orchard's half an hour away, though. Grab your coat?
no subject
After shrugging on the coat she'll rendezvous with her sister by the door. ] Half an hour, huh?
no subject
[So it's mine now. Unspoken. Though she's already thinking in terms of ours, because well...
...through the door they go.] How have things been at home?
no subject
[ And a lot of worry about how the orchard would be winter-wise. ] Fairly good. I hired on an extra set of hands, even.

[You know, after the marines dug it up and all....
She sets out for the back of the house, following a trail kind of well trodden by now out into the forest.] How's Gen-san?
no subject
[ ...Granted they were cleaning up for a while, but everyone was pretty willing to help out in the excitement, which Nojiko cashed in on. ] He's doing well. Starting up his weapons collection again, actually.
