Experiments time!
Nami’s experiments time!
She has 150 points. Spending some of that on some Barcode B Gone and one of those shift-preventing bracelets.
Then we go on a camping trip to the western barrier and take Biri. ~~~/o/
Watching the barrier. Seeing what can actually go through it. She knows ocean does on the other side, so that’s something she’s checking here.
• Is there air flow?
• Does a breeze go through?
• What about small objects like falling leaves or snowflakes or rain? (She can test two of three of these with her weapon if they aren’t readily available)
• What about a cup of liquid flung at the barrier?
• What about clouds? (Her weapon can create clouds for this purpose, too)
• What about lightning? Does it pass through, reflect back, or is it simply absorbed? Does powerful lightning have any effect at all?
• How about powerful lightning from an electrical duck?
• Speaking of electrical ducks… Biri doesn’t have a barcode or an extra pair of wings. Is he stopped by the barrier?
• What if she kicks him at it really, really hard?
• What about other indigenous life like squirrels or hibernating bears?
• …wait, forget about the bears.
• Yes, she’s cruel enough to throw squirrels at the barrier. Nami’s a bitch.
• If Nami wipes her barcode with Barcode-B-Gone, is she stopped by the barrier?
• If Nami wears the shift-preventing bracelet, is she stopped by the barrier?
• If Zoro turns up and is completely lost can he wander through the barrier by mistake?
• Hey it’s in his nature. >_> But he does turn up there eventually.
• Do the Malnosso get pinged by these random experiments at any time and smack Nami across the nose with a newspaper? No, bad labrat?
Assuming all of these come to naught and she doesn’t get mugged by droids, she’ll go and repeat them on the other side of the barrier, i.e. the ocean
Of course, if any of these actually work, please let me know because she’ll change what she does after that accordingly. >.>
Also, do all these random things (assuming they fail) bounce off the barrier, or--- what is the actual way the barrier behaves when it stops something? Is it just like unbreakable glass?
Also as a note, just as I look at the Nitpicker’s guide. It says both that the deepest the ocean gets is around 500ft, but also that the underwater ruins are miles and miles beneath the surface. Assuming that second one is just an exaggeration, you might want to change it anyway due to some players kind of being idiots and taking it at face value. |D

Mod response:
* using the barcode removal won't work
* zoro cannot pass through it randomly 8|
* natural clouds can pass through but nami's created clouds can't
* btw something else to consider- if she tries to throw things like leaves, or sticks, or water or whatever through the barrier, it'll bounce. but if it's naturally pushed through, like a leaf on a wind current, it'll go just fine |D because the malnosso love to frustrate the hell out of people.
