[Voice/Action]
[Nami's had quite enough of sleeping. It's kind of disconcerting to be told it's now September, and it doesn't help that she's spent the time since Ling's rude wake-up call still sleeping most of her day away. So tired, all the time. Prone to falling asleep mid-shower, and that is annoying, to say the least.
Oh, well. A week has gone past and she can finally get through most of the day with no problems, so Nami takes advantage of the fact that there is no Chopper to tell her otherwise (and no Katara or Law at the house at the time) to sneak up to the orchard and see how it's fared in her near-two-month absence.
...huh. Been hot lately, she sees. And a lot less mikan up here than she was expecting. Nothing too alarming, and the place seems okay otherwise, pinwheels and all. Someone even fixed her cottage door, lookit that.
Welp. Observant villagers might see the low-lying rainclouds to the northeast of the village, a tiny little storm that barely covers an acre. It's too hot today anyway, may as well take advantage of the fact that she can cheat.]
[Voice]
Thanks, whoever fixed my door. Did you take some of the fruit as payment or should I blame someone else for that?
[Tell her what she's missed, Luceti.]
[voice - filtered]
Travel up river and look for the fence with all the pinwheels on it!
[Things sort of changed a little up here since you were here last.]

[voice - filtered]
Nope! I'm out at the orchard. Lots of fruit trees! Much cooler out this way, too.
...the Malnosso decided in their infinite wisdom to give us farmland last year.
[And lord, she kinda wished Guy was there for the fallout of that.]
[voice - filtered]
Fah- farmland? [Pant pant.] Why would that- ever be a good idea?
[voice - filtered]
Something about self sufficiency. [A serious point that one, actually-- the politics of this place have changed drastically since he was here last. But she won't get into that now (and not on the journals, anyway.) But...ah. It all turned up as part of an experiment last year where we thought we'd settled here for hundreds of years, and then it just sort of stuck around. I kind of inherited a mikan grove as a result.
[She moves inside and takes the journal with her. If he's going to run all all the way up here, she better make something ice cold to drink.]
[voice - filtered]
Oh did you? You must be happy about that.
[Guy doesn't end up running all the way there, but Nami is inside when he arrives and he lets himself into the orchard. It's raining just over this area of Luceti, which is weird, but it's cool on his skin and he leaves his jacket on the fence to stay dry, walking into it and tilting his head back.
Nice.]
[Filtered voice -> Action!]
[She's watching for him to arrive, so Nami closes her journal when she sees he's arrived, slipping out of the cottage.]
You got here fast. You've ruined my weather prediction.
[She clearly minds.]
[Action!]
Dammit, phobia.]
Good to see you again. Well, I mean, good to see you knowing what I know now.
[Action!]
[She grins at him. And Nami definitely remembers certain phobias, so she doesn't move, letting him come up to the shelter of the porch instead.] Seriously, though. What made you think I'd forgotten you?
[Action!]
I uh- well, my memory's still a bit fuzzy, and you didn't look like you recognized me. Me me, I mean, not before-me.
[that makes sense right]
[Action!]
Come inside. I made you a slushie.
[Hospitality at its classiest.]
[Action!]
[Guy follows her inside.]
So is this where you live now? By yourself?
[Action!]
[And to the kitchen they go, where she's left the drinks on the kitchen sideboard. We hope you like mikan slushies, Guy.]
[Action!]
It's a nice little getaway. Really peaceful, smells great. [The citrus and all.]
[Action!]
Isn't it? I spend a lot of my days up here. And still front up in the bar most nights.
Which reminds me. Are you going back to Good Spirits? ...actually, how long have you been back?
[Action!]
[Wow this drink is freakin' delicious.]
Just need to get yours, I think.
[Action!]
...though I might resign now you're back.
[Action!]
Huh- why? Haha, don't want to work with me?
